ABOUT THE BLOG

Here's the short story: since I was a kid, I've watched, read, and listened to all things the true crime. Forensic science is, like, the coolest thing ever. My love of forensics and interest in true crime stories followed me into adulthood. More than anything, I love learning about forensic psychology. I'm on a search to learn as much as possible about the why and the how behind what turns people turn into violent criminals.

I have a B.A in Psychology and a M.S in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Behavior Analysis. Do these degrees make me an expert on crime? No. Does it show that my interest in criminology goes beyond watching Investigation Discovery? I think so. On this site, I'll explore cold cases, lesser known homicide cases, high-profile homicide cases, and on-going investigations. With that being said, this is an opinion-based blog and I will do my best to present all stories in a respectful manner.

On a more serious (and less "true crime fan girl") note, I believe the victims of crime are the most important part of any true crime story. I like to believe that by writing about true crime cases, I'm giving a voice back to those who have had their voices silenced.
